Care Packages for College Students
Our Human Care Ministry would like to begin a project to send care packages to our college students who are currently away from home. We want to maintain contact and remind them of our prayers, love, and care for them.
We have a team formed who will draw up guidelines for what to send and when, and how to let the congregation share in the project.
What we need now are names and mailing addresses of our college students. Please send these to the church office ASAP. The deadline to submit names and mailing addresses is September 25th so we can begin our planning in earnest. Please direct any questions to the church office.

LWML Weekend
Next weekend, October 1 and 2, has been designated as Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) Sunday. The women of the LWML invite the entire congregation to celebrate together as the Body of Christ under the theme, “For Us and With Us.” This special worship service was authored by Rev. Dr. Ryan Peterson, Vice President of Administration, Concordia University Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Join us and learn how the Lord has worked through the LWML to bring the lost and the erring into fellowship with Him through mission and ministry. LWML is planning a display of several completed quilts and our LWML Banner. There will also be a small keepsake gift for the first 100 people.

New Foundations Class
Trinity is offering a weekly Foundations Class. If you or someone you know is interested in joining Trinity or wants information about the Lutheran faith, this is the class for you! An introduction to Christian teaching and the Lutheran faith, the purpose of this class is to provide the information needed to understand what Lutherans believe and decide whether Trinity is the church for you. Joining Trinity after completing this class is not required, but our hope is that you will find this to be a wonderful community where you can be involved and grow spiritually.
Meetings will occur September 10-November 5 from 4:00pm-5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall If you are interested in the class or need more information, please contact the church office.
For anyone who may want to participate but is not available when we are meeting or is not comfortable meeting in person, we are working on an online option that will give you the same information but can be completed on your own. However, we encourage you to attend in person if possible as you will have the opportunity to interact with the others in the class and become connected to people at the church who are learning alongside you. If you are interested in this online option, please contact the church office at [email protected]
