Trinity's 100th Anniversary Plans
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September, 15. That Saturday evening will be a Gala dinner event here on campus - wonderful food, music, fellowship, as we give thanks to God and remember & celebrate our Trinity history! Sunday will be one combined worship service for the entire Trinity family followed by a light brunch as we open a time capsule now buried in the wall of the Sanctuary, see what's there, and then bury a new one that will be opened by another generation of Trinity members years from now.
You're invited to Make A More Joyful Noise!
Join the Parish Choir for one Sunday only as we share God's great word through music. You're invited to sing at the 8:00 a.m. OR the 11:00 a.m. service on May 5. We'll have rehearsals on the following schedule:
Wednesday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. (in the choir loft) or
Sunday, May 5, at 7:30 a.m. (in the choir loft) to sing for the 8:00 a.m. service, or
Sunday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m. (in the choir loft) to sing for the 11:00 a.m. service.
Thank you from Gregg & Dardie Yawman
Dear Sisters & Brothers in Christ! May the peace of our Lord fill your hearts and continue to guide your steps! A most blessed Holy Week to all of you. Dardie and I are so grateful for your thoughts, visits and prayers over my recent motorcycle accident. Praise God that your prayers were heard by our gracious Lord. Brother Don Behrmann confirmed not long ago that virtually all the blood mass had finally absorbed. So, no surgery was needed. Last Tuesday I was released from all medical care regarding my brain injury and fractures! We were so overwhelmed by all the calls, cards and letters received. You touched our hearts in a way we cannot adequately express. How blessed we are to be a part of such a loving and attentive congregation. Please know how much you mean to us and that you are a wonderful and cherished part of our lives. We KNOW you are Christians by your love! JBWYA! -Gregg & Dardie Yawman
VBS June 17-21
As the school year winds to its close in just a few short weeks, children are looking ahead to summer and hoping for new adventures, time with friends, and lots of fun. We've got a great week planned for your Rising Kindergartner - Rising 6th Grade child! Join us June 17-21, 9am to Noon for our "Roar" safari adventure where children will learn that "Life is wild - God is good"! Each day will be filled with awesome songs, a stampede of fun games, dramatic presentations of engaging Bible stories, yummy snacks, and an amazing worship celebration to wrap things up. There is no charge for this week of VBS, but children and families will be given the opportunity to make a donation to "Water for Tanzania", a Kids Empowering Kids project to bring clean water to children in need of this life giving resource.
Youth who have completed 6th grade through High School are invited to serve as volunteers during the week. Please contact email@example.com if you are interested in this opportunity and would like more information. There will be a mandatory information/training meeting on June 9 at 12:30 pm for all volunteers.
This event is posted on Trinity's Facebook page too. Please like and then share on your own page to spread the word to others. Thanks!
Registration forms are available on-line or in the church office.
We are looking forward to sharing the love of Jesus and God's goodness with you at Trinity's "Roar" VBS.

On Saturday, April 27, Trinity will be hosting another Servant Saturday event. Volunteers can join in service at Our Savior Lutheran Church for our second phase of cleaning the computer trailer used by the Rebecca's Garden of Hope (RGOH) ministry. RGOH at Our Savior Lutheran Church is located off of Bruton Street in Orlando. We will meet at 9am in the front parking lot and work until 1pm. Afterward, the servant team can go for lunch together for some fellowship time (optional). Volunteers are needed to help to makes this event a success. Please contact Terry Boggs for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please let us know!
Please let your Trinity family know of any scheduled surgery or hospital stay. In addition to scheduled procedures, please give the church office a call to let us know about extended illness, unplanned hospital stays, or even the birth of a child. You can call the office at any time and leave a message-no need to wait until business hours (407-488-1919 x101). During business hours, that information can then be forwarded to the appropriate caregivers. For an emergency that requires the care of a Pastor after hours or over the weekend call or text us at 407-490-7339 and leave a message. We'll get back to you ASAP. We want to be sure to know when you need us-whether to pray with you before a scheduled procedure, sit with you during a loved one's procedure, pray for you while you recover, visit you in the hospital/at home or to share praise and thanksgiving prayers for good news/results. Just let us know. Thank you.
Urgent Prayer Requests
If you have an urgent prayer request that can't wait until you fill out a yellow prayer card during worship, please submit it via email to
. While submitting a yellow card during worship is still the preferred way to share prayer requests, sometimes a prayer need can't wait until Sunday. Your prayer request (first name and basic details of the prayer requested) will be shared with a team of committed weekday prayer warriors and will also be added to Trinity's regular printed prayer list for the congregation. All prayers are kept on the printed list for a period of three weeks, so please resubmit long term prayer needs regularly so that they stay on the printed list. Thank you.
