Founders Circle
The Founders Circle was recently established to support our legacy and meet the needs of Trinity High School. This new philanthropic initiative is built upon advocates for Trinity and its growth. Trinity prides itself on filling its hallways with bright and curious minds who are engaged in all aspects of campus life. You are invited to learn more about the Circle by contacting Mrs. Beth Zak in the Advancement Office to attend a Founders Circle reception on May 15, 2019. This evening will be centered on what visionary leaders and philanthropy can accomplish for Trinity High School.

Parents of Juniors: Medical Information
Pennsylvania State Law requires all students to have a second dose of the Meningococcal vaccine prior to entry into 12th Grade (one dose was required for 7th grade, and the 2nd dose is required for 12th grade). Please review your student's immunization records and have your primary care provider take appropriate action. Please send a copy of your student's updated immunization record to the Main Office, Attn: "School Nurse."

Trinity High School Senior/Junior Prom
Trinity High School will hold this year's Prom, “Night in Santorini,” on Friday, April 26, from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the West Shore Country Club. Tickets are $70 each through Friday, April 12 (the last day to purchase). Students attending prom must return a completed permission letter, and students from other schools should complete a guest pass. This is a formal dance. As students turn their thoughts to Prom, we remind parents and students that, as a Catholic high school, we require dress that is age and occasion-appropriate. Spiritual Reflections
Gospel for Sunday, April 7, 2019 – The Fifth Sunday in Lent
Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. But early in the morning he arrived again in the temple area,
and all the people started coming to him, and he sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and made her stand in the middle. They said to him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” They said this to test him, so that they could have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger. But when they continued asking him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Again he bent down and wrote on the ground. And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders. So he was left alone with the woman before him. Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She replied, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.” --John 8:1-11

Reflection
How often do we judge and condemn others? In today’s society, it is easy to be part of the mob, passing judgment without all the facts, or without taking into account our own failures and sins. Jesus offers the woman a second chance through His mercy and tells her, “Do not sin anymore.” Those words--“Do not sin anymore”--are a call to the Sacrament of Reconciliation to make a firm commitment to repent and change our lives. This Lent, let us go before Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, so we can hear Him tell us: “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.”
Saint of the Week--Saint John Baptist De La Salle, April 7

Probably best known as the patron of many Christian Brothers’ schools, Saint John Baptist de la Salle originally had no intention of working with youth or founding a religious community. He saw himself as a comfortable diocesan priest. But God had other plans, and Saint John responded wholeheartedly. De La Salle is important to the Trinity Community because our school was founded by the Christian Brothers. De La Salle is also the patron of one of our four houses.

For more information on the Saints, visit Franciscan Media’s Saint of the Day .
Prayer for the Week
By Your help, we beseech You, Lord our God, may we walk eagerly in that same charity with which, out of love for the world, Your Son handed Himself over to death. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
