We are delighted to share our latest updates on two major fundraising initiatives at Trinity High School -- our EmPOWERed Campaign and our Trinity Theater Renovation Plan.
EmPOWERed Campaign Update
The Construction Project
We are almost there!
Drone Video
We are in the home stretch of the EmPOWERed Campaign Construction Project! The newly constructed single-story link and four-story elevator tower bring ADA access from the main building to our Sister Michelle Germanson Athletic Facility. They are just finishing up the addition's interiors including corridor connections and the ADA entrance to the school’s Dr. Alice M. Fox Auditorium. The warmer temperatures are providing the necessary climate to complete pedestal pavers and Trinity's Green Roof along with the renovation of the courtyard.
Auditorium Renovation is Complete
Thank you to everyone who supported Trinity's Theater Renovation Plan. While the major renovation is now complete, we still have less than 200 seats for purchase. If you are interested in purchasing a seat with a 30-character inscription, click here.

If you are interested in naming opportunities or have any questions, please contact me at skeith@trinityhs.org or 708.453.9374.

In Case You Missed It ...
Join Trinity alumna Erin Nelson '16, Trinity Blazer Miranda Santamaria '22, and Alexandra Palutsis, PE
Project Manager from Cullen Construction Management, for a tour of Trinity's Empowered Construction Project.
On Sunday, March 20th Trinity hosted a dedication and blessing of the newly renovated Dr. Alice M. Fox Auditorium. The dedication included a blessing and recognition of Dr. Fox in addition to an acknowledgment of the over 1,000 members of the Trinity community who purchased a seat to assist with the renovation.

The above beam was signed by members of the Trinity community at large during events throughout the summer and fall. The beam will be placed in the construction symbolizing the 104-year legacy that is the foundation of the new structure.
We Broke Ground!
We are thrilled to announce that Trinity hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, August 3, celebrating the start of the construction of the EmPOWERed Project. All generous EmPOWERed Campaign donors, EmPOWERed Campaign Tri-Chairs, Trinity's Leadership Team, Trinity's Board of Directors, representatives of the Village of River Forest, owners reps (Cullen Construction Management), the architect team (Wight & Co.), and construction crew (Berglund Construction) were invited to join us in a blessing, celebratory toast, and "beam signing." Stay tuned throughout the fall for construction updates.
Campaign Blessing

Horizontal & Vertical Link

We plan to install a much-needed elevator and connecting walkway of the academic building to the Sr. Michelle Germanson Athletic Facility to improve our accessibility and security. The elevator will provide access to all floors in the academic building and each stop will offer a collaborative space for students and faculty. We are evaluating an option for an outdoor walkway on the second floor and green roof.
Enclosed Courtyard

An enclosed courtyard will be designed and landscaped for outdoor education, recreation, events, and green space all using sustainable practices. This space will offer an array of outdoor seating for our students in a beautifully landscaped area.
Auditorium Accessibility
We will be enhancing our ADA accessibility in Trinity's Auditorium. We are evaluating an outdoor ramp option as well as a chairlift from the academic building to the Auditorium and accessibility backstage.
