BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR BABY JESUS ON DECEMBER 2:  On Sunday morning, December 2 all the preschool and elementary children (5th grade and younger) and their friends are invited to attend a birthday party for the baby Jesus. The party will be held during the Sunday School hour from 9:15 until 10:15 in the fellowship hall. There will be Advent activities, a birthday cake and the telling of the Christmas story. This event has become a Trinity tradition to help our children better understand the Advent season and to help them prepare for the coming of the Christ Child in their own lives. Of course, it wouldn't be a birthday party without gifts, and our gifts will support the work at Perryville’s Partners for Progress.  We ask that each child bring toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.) to help restock the pantry’s shelves.  Direct questions to Angela Smiley at 501-247-6470.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  December 2-8 birthdays at Trinity: Ruthann Strickland, Faber Horne, Cora Lee Brannon, Raymond Screws, Nancy Rorex. If your birthday is missing from this list, contact Trinity’s office at [email protected] or 501-868-5848.

A BARTON HOUSE CHRISTMAS BLESSING:  It is Christmastime at Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services in Monticello and the Barton House girls are preparing for the excitement and blessing of a safe, secure and loving Christmas experience. Trinity Presbyterian supports this important mission by purchasing gifts for these young ladies and for their home. The giving tree is in the Narthex and their wishes are waiting for you! All gifts should be put under the tree by Sunday, December 16.  Please put your gifts in decorative gift bags rather than wrapping paper and be sure to attach the name tag you chose from the tree. Help us make this a very special Christmas for them.  “Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.” (1 John 3:18) Direct questions to Wanda Hartnuss at 501-515-3307.
