IN WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 3:  Pastor Jeff Price and Christian Kasten will give a special welcoming Call to Worship. Jeff will preach “Certified in Life-Losing” drawn from Matthew 16:24–17:8.  We will sing the hymns Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise; Take Up Your Cross, the Savior Said ; and Lord, the Light of Your Love is Shining.  The Sanctuary Choir will present Lloyd Larson’s arrangement of Michael W. Smith and Debbie Smith’s Spirit, Shine On Us.  Liturgist Nancy Rorex will assist in leading worship, Phoebe Curtis is the Psalm reader, and Julie Price will give God’s Word for Children. We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

CONFIRMATION CLASSES will be offered on March 3, 24, 31, April 7 and 14 from 4:30 to 5:30pm immediately before youth group. The classes, to be taught by Jeff Price, are open to youth 6th grade and older. The confirmands will join the church on April 7 during the 10:30 worship service. Direct questions to Julie Price or Jeff Price.

ASH WEDNESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER AND WORSHIP:  Join with your Trinity family in the fellowship hall on Ash Wednesday, March 6, at 5:15pm for a delicious pancake supper and fellowship. Following supper, we will have our Ash Wednesday service of worship at 6:00pm in the sanctuary. Worship will feature special music, the Imposition of the Ashes liturgy, and a brief homily titled “Rejoicing in Our Sorrow.”

SACRED JOURNEY SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS BEGINS NEW STUDY ON MARCH 10:  How many animals were taken on Noah’s Ark? Who cut Sampson’s hair? How did David kill Goliath? We think we know the answers to these questions because we learned them in our childhood, but the real answers might just surprise you. Join the Sacred Journey Sunday School class beginning Sunday, March 10 at 9:15am for “Fake News: The Lessons You Learned Incorrectly in Sunday School” as we revisit Old Testament favorites, comparing what we think we remember from our childhood to what the Bible actually says. The class meets in Room 2 from 9:15-10:15 each Sunday morning. Discussion will be led by Anne Brown.

TRINITY YOUTH GO TO THE MOVIES ON MARCH 10:  Trinity Youth will go to the movies to see Captain Marvel on March 10 at 5:00pm.  Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 4:30 for dinner and a message before carpooling to the movie. Tickets are going fast, so text or call Jared Brown at 870-299-0989 if you plan to attend!

THE MUSES “CELTIC SPRING” CONCERT COMES TO TRINITY MARCH 11:  The Muses Creative Artistry Project of Hot Springs presents “Celtic Spring,” the first Little Rock concert of its 2019 “Seasons in Art & Song” concert series on Monday, March 11 at 7:00pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The concert is free and a love offering will be taken to benefit Family Promise of Pulaski County, whose mission is to help homeless families achieve independence. The Muses “Celtic Spring” concert showcases the charm and tradition of Irish, Scottish and English ballads, including traditional favorites such as “Skye Boat Song,” “Scarborough Fair,” “Parting Glass,” and “The Rocky Road to Dublin.” For more information about the Muses Project or its 2019 season, please call 501-609-9811 or visit
