Masks Optional Indoors for Fully Vaccinated Individuals
Because of the improvement in the COVID-19 numbers in our area, the Session voted to make mask wearing indoors at Trinity optional for fully vaccinated individuals. Unvaccinated individuals are still required to wear a mask indoors at Trinity.
In 10:30 Worship this First Sunday of Advent, November 28
Families are complicated. Jesus’s family was no exception. Come hear about some of the interesting characters in Jesus’s family tree. Pastor Jeff Price will preach “Rockin’ Around the Chrismon Tree: The Lion of Judah” drawn from Matthew 1. Larry and Sandy Furrer will light the first Advent candle. Alyssa Bloser will read the Psalm. The Sanctuary Choir will sing Charlotte Lee’s and Douglas E. Wagner’s Advent. We will sing the hymns Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus and While We Are Waiting, Come. David Glaze will play Paul Manz’s setting of Thomas Haweis’ Hark! the Glad Sound! An order of worship will be emailed to everyone on Friday so that those watching the livestream at home can worship along with us.

Past worship services are also available on YouTube. If you missed any of our online worship services or would like to watch the sermons or music again, they are available on YouTube. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel!

Happy Birthday!

Our Coat Drive for Homeless Veterans Was a Success
Thanks so much to everyone who participated in our coat drive for homeless veterans! We collected 46 coats which were delivered to the VA by Outreach elder David Dillinger on November 12.
Angel Tree for the Girls at Vera Lloyd's Barton House through December 12
Trinity has long supported the important ministry of Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services. Vera Lloyd shares Christ’s healing love with children, youth, and families in crisis. The resident campus in Monticello provides a safe living environment for children that are from all over the state including central Arkansas.

Trinity has a special relationship with the girls of Vera Lloyd’s Barton House and wants to be a part of a safe, secure, and loving Christmas experience for them. You can participate in this special holiday mission by making a cash donation that will be used to purchase gifts for the girls. Checks can be mailed to or dropped off at Trinity (please indicate “Angel Tree” on the memo line). Credit cards and paying apps can be used on Trinity’s website here (please indicate “Angel Tree” in the comments section).

Angel Tree gifts on the red ornament tags have all been taken at this point (thank you so much!) and should be returned along with the ornament tag in a decorative gift bag (no wrapping paper, please) to the church by Sunday, December 12. Direct questions to Outreach elder Allison Richardson at 501-580-5766 (call or text) or via email at [email protected].
Christmas Bonfire and Vespers Service on December 5
A Christmas Bonfire and Vespers Service will be offered at Trinity by the Fellowship Committee on Sunday, December 5 at 4:30pm. Our time together will be held in the clearing behind the church playground. Come enjoy hotdogs, s’mores, and hot chocolate under a canopy of Christmas lights. Sing some old Christmas favorites. Visit with your church family around the bonfire. We will close the evening with a brief Vespers service. No matter what your age, this will be a wonderful way to help you prepare for Christmas. Direct questions to Fellowship elder Dave Dougherty at [email protected] or 501-478-5557.
Do You Have a Golf Cart?
Do you have access to a golf cart that you’d be willing to use on December 5 to help shuttle church members from our parking lot to the Christmas Bonfire clearing behind the church playground? If so, give Pastor Jeff a call at 501-626-6476 or email him at [email protected].
"Rockin' Around the Chrismon Tree" Advent Sermon Series
What does that Chrismon ornament on our church’s Christmas tree represent? This is the question that arises each Advent. The word Chrismon is a portmanteau of “Christ's Monograms.” Each Chrismon ornament reveals something of the nature of Jesus. A cursory glance shows many unusual symbols on our tree. During Advent, to provide better understanding of the Chrismon tree, Pastor Jeff is preaching a sermon series explaining the history and symbolism of the Chrismons. Is there a particular Chrismon ornament you’d like explained? Just let Pastor Jeff know at 501-626-6476 or email him at [email protected].
Trinity's Holiday Mission Market Is Open!
Trinity Presbyterian Church is offering you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your community with a holiday gift that is not the typical purchase. The items from the four missions in our Mission Market catalog provide you the opportunity to give gifts that provide blessings twice: not only to those who benefit directly from the gift, but also to those on the list that you honor by your giving. Each gift you give can be in honor of someone on your Christmas list. For each gift given you will receive a holiday card to share with family and friends acknowledging your gift given in their honor. The mission will receive 100% of your financial donation. Visit the Mission Market on Trinity’s website here or contact Julie Peak in the church office at [email protected] or 501-868-5848 if you’d like her to mail you a printed copy of the catalog and order form.
Lessons & Devotions @ Home
We are sharing two links each week that we encourage families of all ages and sizes to use as a Sunday school lesson and/or mid-week devotion. These are created through Presbyterian Outlook to easily adapt to your children’s ages and learning styles. For this week’s lesson, click here for Family Faith Formation @ Home and here for Christian Ed @ Home.
Send In Your Prayer Requests
Send in your prayer requests by email to our account created just for them, [email protected], or text them to Pastor Jeff at 501-626-6476. If requested, Pastor Jeff will pray for your joys and concerns during each Sunday’s worship service. You can also call and leave them on our answering machine prior to Sunday morning by calling the church office at 501-868-5848.
