MCLEAN, VA – Triple lane closures are planned on southbound I-495 (Beltway Outer Loop) between Georgetown Pike (Exit 44) and Old Dominion Drive in McLean from 11 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, April 22 until as late as 5 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, April 23, for overhead sign repair work. One southbound lane will remain open in this area of the Beltway, except when intermittent traffic stoppages of up to 30-minutes each, occur between Midnight and 5 a.m. Beltway drivers traveling from Maryland to Virginia over the American Legion Bridge should expect delays and use alternate routes. |
