Triple P Elkhart County Director Leah Plank wrote about our engagement with Self-Healing Communities Collective, a regional partnership to build awareness of the principles of self-healing, how self-healing contributes to stronger communities, and how it all results in better environments for our children!

Mental Health Awareness of Michiana, in partnership with The Source, is proud to present the 2025 Spring Summit: Advancing Trauma-Informed Care, Caring for Our Community and Ourselves. The summit will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Elkhart Health & Aquatic Center, 200 E Jackson St.

This summit brings together experts in trauma-informed care, organizations (including Triple P Elkhart County) implementing best practices, and lived experiences of community members to share insights and foster meaningful discussions.

This free event is open to caregivers, leaders, professionals, and anyone interested in advancing trauma-informed care in our community. We will be one of the organizations hosting a community resource table at the event, so we hope you will come see us!
