World Traditions Day!
As part of our ongoing efforts to learn more about the many cultures of the world and to develop a sense of appreciation and pride for all of the cultures represented in our community, TEMS is excited to share that World Traditions Day is this Friday, March 29. Many students have created presentations and activities to share with their classmates for this wonderful event that will take place during the students' Activity Time.
World Foods Day - Parents, We Need Your Help!
Food is one method (a very tasty method) to help students experience the many diverse cultures of the world! We are organizing a World Foods Day for April 9th, 2019, in which students can view and take bite-size samples from a diverse sampling of foods. Please consider contributing a traditional food from your heritage to help us celebrate! If possible, consider including a short educational statement about your food's origin or cultural significance. If you are willing to contribute, please contact Dr. Phillips via email at PhillipsAndy@tesd.net. Thank you!

School Start Times Update - Survey Complete
On March 8, the District launched a survey to obtain feedback on the 2019-2020 school start time option. Current T/E parents, middle/high school students and staff members had the opportunity to take the survey, which closed on March 18. The District received over 7,000 responses to the survey. District staff are in the process of compiling and analyzing the survey data. Survey results will be posted when the analysis is complete and will be discussed at the April 11, 2019 School Board Education Committee meeting, which will be held at 7:00 pm in the Tredyffrin/Easttown Administration Offices. The public is welcomed to attend.
