Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up
Before Student Orientation, please review the Traffic Flow Procedures for Student Drop-off/Pick-up and talk to your students about how pick-up will work for your family before the first day of school. The safety of your children is our top priority and we thank you for partnering with us to make our pick-up safe and support traffic flow.
If you have Archway Trivium K-5 students that you are transporting to/from campus along with your Trivium Prep students, you will drop-off/pick-up Prep students from the Archway traffic lanes. Please refer to the Archway Traffic Flow/Drop-off & Pick-up procedures for additional information that may apply to your family.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS: When you reach the Prep Drop-off/Pick-up Zone on the south side of campus, please ONLY stop your car for drop-off/pick-up of students in the outer two lanes. ALWAYS leave the center lane clear for cars to exit campus, once they have picked up students. Students should remain in your vehicle along the west side of campus (by the front office), and wait until they reach the Prep Drop-off/Pick-up Zone on the south side to exit the vehicle.

Health Office Welcome and Medication & Health Care Plans
The health office staff welcomes new and returning students to Trivium Prep! We look forward to partnering with scholars and families this year.
As we return to school in the midst of the Arizona heat, it is essential that your scholar stay hydrated. Please remember to send your child to school with a water bottle and encourage them to drink water at home! The health office has a limited supply of water bottles that are reserved for students with illness. There are water bottle filling stations on campus.
If your scholar has a health concern/condition OR if your scholar takes a daily medication or emergency medication – we want to connect with you! Please stop by the health office during Student Orientation to drop off medication and care plans, or contact us to schedule a time to meet for medication drop-off and/or health care plans.
The health office has the following over the counter (OTC) medications in stock: acetaminophen/Tylenol, ibuprofen, cough drops, hydrocortisone cream, Neosporin, saline eye drops, Tums, and Benadryl/Zyrtec (for emergency use only).
These OTC medications will only be administered if parental consent has been given, and the staff has determined the necessity of the medication. The health office staff will notify parents of excessive health office visits and frequent requests for medication as this may indicate a need for further treatment by their physician. During enrollment consent for these medications was asked. If there are any changes to your consent, please contact the health office.
All prescribed and OTC medication from home requires a Consent to Dispense Medication form, giving us permission and guidance to administer any medication not listed above. All medications must be brought into the health office by a parent/guardian in the original packaging. Prescription medications will be administered according to the physician’s order and must be in the original prescription bottle. The child’s name must be clearly legible, and the medication must not be expired.
As a reminder, scholars cannot bring medication on campus. This includes OTC medications (ex: allergy medications, pain relievers, topical creams) and prescription medications. Your child’s safety is our top priority, and we are happy to house medications for your child’s needs. This includes short-term antibiotics or any new medications your scholar requires during the school year.
Scholars may be permitted to self-carry emergency medication (Epi-pens, inhalers, and quick glucose) with a completed emergency action plan and Self Carry Administration Form. This form confirms that a scholar has the ability and training to use the emergency medication safely and appropriately, and that they are responsible for keeping it with them. A pencil bag that travels with them throughout the day is a recommendation for storing these emergency medications.
We welcome all information or guidance to help support your scholar on campus to the best of our abilities. Having an action plan in place from your child’s healthcare provider allows us to have clear guidelines on the best possible way we can assist your scholar should they require it during the school year. Great Hearts has a few health care action plans to help guide care:
If your scholar has one of the above-mentioned medical conditions, an action plan is required. We do accept action plans from your child’s provider as well. These plans must be updated annually.
In accordance with Arizona State Law (A.R.S 15-872), students must have proof of all required immunizations or a valid exemption in order to attend school. The Health Office will monitor compliance and notify non-compliant families as needed. Please ensure your scholar is up to date on vaccinations or contact the health office for an exemption form.
The Health Office’s direct phone number is: 623-209-0603. Please contact us throughout the year with updates on your scholar’s health and well-being.
We look forward to meeting you and keeping your scholar healthy this school year!
Janette Yeager, BSN-RN (Mon/Tues/Weds)
Marjaan Khan, BSN-RN (Thurs/Fri)
Elva Federico, RMA (Mon – Fri)

- Nutri-grain bars
- Peanut-free granola bars
- Water bottles

Volunteer Clearance Reminders
As this school year comes to a close and we begin to prepare for the 2026-27 school year, the Great Hearts Security Team would like to share a few reminders regarding volunteer clearance:
- If you were approved to volunteer this school year, please note your application approval is valid for one-year from the date of approval. For example, an application approved on 6/1/2026 will expire on 6/1/2027.
- The Raptor system will send a reminder email 60 days prior to your application expiration date and again five days before expiration.
- If you obtained a Fingerprint Clearance card this year as part of your volunteer approval, Great Hearts still requires you to complete a new Raptor application annually based on your application expiration date. If necessary, your Fingerprint Clearance card information may be used to support approval of future applications through the card’s expiration date.
