The Middle School Minute - Tips for Scholar Success
Attendance and the End of the School Year
Summer vacation, is near but not quite here yet. Here are three reasons to why attendance is vital to ending the school year with strength.
1. Learning has not stopped:
- Content old and new is still being delivered.
- Learning goals and objectives are still being met.
2. Scholars will have final exams and projects:
- Your scholar may be part of a group project and their contributions are needed.
- Final exams are a vital part of your scholar’s 4th quarter and overall semester grade.
3. Regular attendance is important to help scholars understand:
- Perseverance and seeing the school year through will help with the sense of accomplishment.
- Responsibility and accountability.

IT’S COMING.
The inaugural Great Hearts Day of Giving will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. In honor of being open 12 years, we have a one-day fundraising goal of $12,000 to support Community Investment.
|
Please join us next Wednesday to find out the answer to this Trivium Trivia, and see what other elements we will showcase as we close out the school year. Help us end the school year with a BANG!
Don’t forget that every donor to Community Investment through the last day of school will be entered into our drawing for a pair of VR goggles, made possible by Trivium family business, Altered Combat.
