WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!
At Great Hearts, we are committed to teaching our students to live a life full of truth, beauty, and goodness. As a not-for-profit public, charter school, we receive less funding from the state each year. This deficit is larger than $1,500 per student. Your student's classical liberal arts education is made possible by parents and community members like you who unify us through giving to our Community Investment campaign each year. We need everyone to participate as every donation regardless of the size goes a long way to keeping our school fully funded.
Thank you to every family in our community who has already partnered with us to provide the important work being done in your student's classroom each day.
Let’s rally Unity in our Community with gifts to Community Investment and grow a beautiful culture of generosity for our children together.
Please watch the following video for more information on community investment and set up a one-time or monthly gift below:

Each week, our Middle School Assistant Headmaster, Mr. Dorion Simmons, shares practical tips for student success.
Middle School Teachers Need Parent Involvement
Teachers need parent involvement so their scholars can be successful:
- In middle school, many teachers have as many as 90-150 scholars. Due to the sheer number of scholars, teachers must simplify teacher-parent communication.
- Teachers need parents to assist in scholar motivation, monitoring progress, and setting expectations for behavior and academics.

EF Tours Summer 2025 Trip Info Meeting - September 16 | |
Take a multi-city lap around the Alps for a comprehensive understanding of the region’s people and traditions.
From Munich’s Hofbräuhaus, where Mozart once wrote an opera, to the Floating City of Venice—which is full of some of the world’s most exquisite art and architecture—the history is as rich as the food. Before you leave, pause for reflection at Lucerne’s Lion Monument, commemorating Swiss Guards killed in the French Revolution, which Mark Twain described as “the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world.”
Bo Faser (longtime Trivium teacher) has partnered with EF Tours to lead a student tour in July 2025. We would love for you to be a part of it. There will be an information meeting on 9/16/2024 at 6pm in the Trivium Prep MPR.
RSVP for the meeting or, if you can’t make the meeting, request the info to be sent after the meeting at this link below. Reach out with any questions: bfaser@greatheartsamerica.org.

If you know of parents who are not receiving these communications, please ask them to check their junk/promotions email folders, and then email bmcdonald@triviumprep.org for assistance.
School Messenger Communication
Great Hearts and Trivium Prep continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.
