Trojan Good Things on Friday was dedicated to our wonderful staff members - our Trojan Family - who are working through trying times to deal with unprecedented circumstances and never before seen challenges to our roles as educators. Thank you for being flexible, driven, courageous, and dedicated to the education and services that we provide to our kids and to this community. Thank you all for your planning and efforts this week via virtual classrooms and meetings.
Thank you to the many that participated (as spaced apart as possible) in our Trojan Spirit Parade on Wednesday. The Trojan Spirit Parade was such a heartwarming expression of your love. Thank you, thank you, thank you to each of you at every grade level and every role. I couldn’t be more proud of our collaborative efforts to create progress and productivity in such an uncertain and scary period.
Everyone please hang in there, and know how deeply appreciated and valued you are! Please practice self-care for you, and make sure you’re taking care of your families. Our administrators put this message together for you. In all circumstances, remember …”Teachers, you’re amazing! Your students are so lucky to have you. Thanks for all you do. Go Trojans!”
Trojan ‘Good Things’ is a weekly shout out from #HSSD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Nehus to individuals in our school community who are doing amazing things! It is her goal to communicate all the positives happening in #HSSD. If you have any special events happening in your classes or buildings or if you know of someone we need to give a shout out to, please complete the form at
