Our HSSD food service provider Chartwells unveiled a new teaching tool - the Discovery Mobile Teaching Cart! Staff members across our campuses can request this cart station and Chartwells staff for classroom demonstrations and collaborative cooking lessons with our kids. Learn more, here.
Second grade students at our Park Magnet, an IB World School, presented summative assessment projects for the “Who We Are” Unit of Inquiry. The project assignment was to create their own holiday or celebration, entirely unique from any existing holiday. Students created posters to help communicate the details of their unique holidays and celebrations. The critical thinkers and creative minds in all three second grade classrooms came up with outstanding celebrations. I have three anonymous shoutouts to share with you this week to our Gardner STEM Kindergarten Team, our T-Steppers, and our Institutional Law Enforcement Officer.
