Trojans News

For the 13th year, more than 3,000 Garland County students in 3rd-6th grade experienced an outstanding performance by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra thanks to the Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony Guild. The annual ASO performance takes place at the Hot Springs Convention Center Bank OZK Arena and is free to all students. Learn more, here.
Our Hot Springs World Class High School proudly hosted an anti-bullying pep rally in honor of Unity Day for all 9th-12th grade students. The NJROTC presented flags, and the HSWCHS Choir performed the National Anthem, to begin the ceremony. Students enjoyed an anti-bullying short play from the Drama Club, an inspiring solo by Mya Sander, a performance from the Hot Springs Dance Troupe, and a challenge from guest speaker Lataschya Harris (Professor at National Park College) to end bullying, report bullies, and to take care of each other. Trojan Good Things, 10/25

Trojan Good Things is a weekly shout out from #HSSD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Nehus to individuals in our school community who are doing amazing things! The final week in October is also the last week of National Principals Month. I want to dedicate our shout outs this week to our outstanding group of Principals who work tirelessly to lead, empower, and encourage our students and staff. See more, here.
