Trojans News
Students across campuses participated in memorable, reflective ceremonies,lessons and experiences on September 11.

A full reflective 9/11 experience was created for our 9th-12th grade students in the HSWCHS old gymnasium featuring eight stations. Each station was dedicated to the history, events, and implications of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Students rotated through each station with specific objectives and worksheets to help guide them through understanding and reflection. Read more, here.

The HSSD is proud to offer a wide array of visual and performing arts at each of our schools. For National Arts in Education Week, we explored an overview of the many ways that arts education is threaded into the offerings and accomplishments of our schools. Read more, here.
HSSD Announces 2019 Homecoming Court

The HSSD is proud to announce our 2019 Homecoming Court - a group of 9th-12th grade students selected by their peers to represent our Hot Springs World Class High School. Join us at the 2019 Homecoming Ceremony and Trojans Football Game on Friday, October 11, at Joe Reese Stadium.

HSSD Superintendent Dr. Nehus organizes four unique Councils that meet throughout the school year to share and discuss district initiatives. Superintendent’s Council meetings are structured to allow for two-way communication, and open forums for information and sharing of feedback. Learn more about how to join one!
HSSD families, please be advised that student vaccinations must be current by September 15, 2019. Please send all immunization records to the school nurse at each HSSD school. An overview of all Arkansas Immunization Requirements are provided here for K-12th grade for reference.
