H SSD and Fountain Lake Athletes Volunteer at CHI St. Vincent During First Security Kickoff Classic
Athletes from our HSSD football team, cheerleaders, and volleyball team joined athletes from Fountain Lake School District at CHI St. Vincent Hospital today to volunteer their time and hands-on work. They worked with CHI volunteers to create items for patients including fleece blankets and children's bags. Blankets are used for an array of patients including visitors to the Advocacy Center and dementia counseling. Children's bags are stuffed with toys and giveaways to put younger patients at ease while receiving treatment.

Thank you to the many HSSD student athletes and Coaches, and various HSSD club members who volunteered last weekend at the annual Good Samaritan's Feet event. Because of your efforts, 125 students K-6th grade received a new pair of shoes and socks.
HSSD families, please be advised that student vaccinations must be current by September 15, 2019. Please send all immunization records to the school nurse at each HSSD school. An overview of all Arkansas Immunization Requirements are provided here for K-12th grade for reference.
Trojan Good Things is a weekly shout out from HSSD Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Nehus to individuals in our school community who are doing amazing things! See a shoutout here to our Gardner Music Teacher Mrs. Bettis for making music a “safe place” for all: Read more.
