Class of 2022 graduate Jeb Jackson was named a AP Scholar with Distinction for scoring at least an average of 3.5 on all AP exams he took while at Carrollton High School.

CHS students named AP Scholars

More than 50 students at Carrollton High School have been named Advanced Placement (AP) scholars by the College Board in recognition of their outstanding performance on the college-level AP exams. Nearly 500 CHS students took AP exams.

Bracknell wins NFHS speech and debate award

A Carrollton High School teacher who has been coaching speech and debate for more than three decades was selected to receive an Outstanding Performing Arts Educator Award from the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Richard Bracknell has been honored several times for his accomplishments as a debate coach at Carrollton High School.

Trojans celebrate high scores on iReady assessments

Third graders Carmen Gutierrez and Amelia Shirey showed off their bling after joining Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Shannon’s iReady “Bling Team" at Carrollton Elementary School. Students who score 100 on iReady assessments are part of the Bling Team for the day!

CHS alum receives Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award

A Carrollton High School alumnus received the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution Service for Veterans Committee. The Abraham Baldwin Chapter nominated Joseph Charles Robinson (“Charlie”) for the award because of his exceptional service to veterans. Robinson graduated in 2022 and currently serves in the Army National Guard.
