Trojans rallying for STATE CHAMPIONSHIP tomorrow!

The 2022 GHSA-Tommy Guillebeau 7A State Football Championship, presented by Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance, will be held on December 10 at Georgia State University's Center Parc Stadium. Line up on Ben Scott Boulevard to help send the Trojans off at 3 p.m. tomorrow. Selected students from Ms. Becca Davis' performing arts class at Carrollton Upper Elementary helped make spirits bright with a special performance at the Dec. 6 Carrollton City Schools Board of Education meeting.

10 CHS students nominated for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

Ten Carrollton High School seniors are among other academically aggressive students from Georgia who are competing to participate in the highly competitive United States Presidential Scholars program.

Oh what fun at Shop with a Cop

A highlight of every Christmas season is the Carrollton Fraternal Order of Police's "Shop with a Cop" program that serves our students with special needs. Police car parades carried the students to shop for gifts of their choice this week. These officers hold a special place in their hearts for these students!

Carrollton Junior High Beta Club participates in national convention

Last week, the Carrollton Junior High Junior Beta Club participated in the national convention in Savannah. The group competed in 28 categories and won several awards, including the Convention Growth and Club Portfolio awards. Liam McKinnon also placed fifth in the state for Math. The group was able to network with students from all over the state and learn valuable leadership skills.

Benefield named Georgia STEM Scholar

A Carrollton Elementary School teacher whose passion for teaching STEM concepts to his young pupils has earned state recognition and the prestigious 2023 Georgia STEM Scholar designation.
