Alocasia Borneo Giant offers huge elephant ear-like leaves that stand upright on strong stems. The leaves can measure several feet long and wide and the plant can grow to 8 feet or more in height. Alocasia Borneo Giant does best in partial sun and grows to its maximum when well fertilized and irrigated.

Duranta trained into a standard form is a wonderful tropical plant.  It grows best in large containers placed in full sun.  Flowing strands of purple flowers will be followed by golden berries in late summer and fall.

This week's featured plant

Tropical Hibiscus

Beautiful tropical hibiscus are available in bush form and braided standards. They bring beautiful large flowers to containers around the pool and look equally as good toward the back of annual color beds. Keep them blooming with Colorscapes fertilizer and enjoy the bright pink, red, yellow, or orange flowers.

Lawn jobs
Mow as needed at the recommended height for your type of lawn and treat broadleaf weeds with a broadleaf weed killer as required. Apply a high nitrogen or all nitrogen fertilizer having at least 50% of its nitrogen in slow release form during the first week or two of April. ***Do not use weed & feed products.*** Click the links below for care guides by lawn grass type.
