Holiday Block Party at Non-Profit Row
Thursday, December 11, 2025 | 4:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Celebrate the holidays with local farmers and makers at the 5th Annual Holiday Block Party at Non-Profit Row! Bounce between Truckee Roundhouse, Tahoe Food Hub, and Sierra Community House for a nonprofit holiday market. Enjoy music, food trucks, local beer, and wine as you shop for organic produce, specialty foods, and handmade local crafts. Connect with the people behind our food, goods, and community support efforts, and don't miss the chance to snap a photo with Santa in front of a snowy Truckee Downtown backdrop. For our last Community Connections event this year, the Truckee Chamber will be hosting Santa at Sierra Community House Food Distribution Center between the Food Hub and Roundhouse from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Drinks and food from MOGROG Rotisserie food truck will be available for purchase, benefiting the nonprofits as well. We hope we'll see you at this great annual event!

A Winter Wish - Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus Holiday Concert

Join the Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus, under the direction of Brittney May, for their heartwarming holiday concert, A Winter Wish. This seasonal program features music that reflects the many wishes we hold during the colder months, wishes for peace, joy, renewal, and togetherness. There will be performances both Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the Truckee High School Auditorium. Sunday's performance is sold out - so secure your tickets for Saturday evening for this wonderful holiday tradition today.
From timeless carols to contemporary reflections, the chorus invites audiences to pause and share in the spirit of hope that unites us all. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Christmastime Strings and the Truckee Tahoe Youth Chorus will join the performance, bringing warmth, sparkle, and youthful energy to this joyful concert.

Join Chabad Truckee for a joyful community gathering as we celebrate the Festival of Lights in the heart of Downtown Truckee! This new Chanukah Celebration brings neighbors, families, and friends together for an evening filled with warmth, tradition, and festive fun.
On Monday, December 15 at 5:00 PM, we’ll meet at the Truckee Welcome Center (10065 Donner Pass Road) for a memorable night featuring a public Menorah lighting, artisanal donuts, and a live DJ to keep the festive energy going.

Truckee Community Cares Giving Campaign
Now through December 11, 2025
Friday is the last day for the toy and coat drive for Truckee Community Cares (TCC).This holiday giving campaign is a community-wide effort to come together in support of local families, seniors and individuals in need. Toy and coat donation bins are around town through December 11, and financial donations are gladly accepted at www.truckeecommunitycares.com.
TCC is an all-volunteer nonprofit that serves as an umbrella organization. They identify those in need, raise essential funds and collaborate closely with other community groups such as Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, Tahoe Church and Toys For Tots. In 2024, TCC’s efforts helped over 285 families (serving 68 more families than the year before), supported 65 local seniors through Sierra Senior Services, the STEPP program (Sierra Teen Education Parenting Program) and North Tahoe-Truckee Homeless Services.

Truckee Chamber of Commerce makes it easy for your business to comply with California’s labor laws by providing forms prepared by the California Chamber of Commerce.
No matter how many employees you have in California, your business is required by law to post a current California and Federal Employment Poster in a central location by January 1, 2026. If you have Spanish-speaking employees, you're required to have a poster in Spanish as well.
