Member Spotlight: FiftyFifty Brewing Co. Opens Flagship Brewpub, Restaurant, and Community Gathering Space in Truckee's Railyard District

FiftyFifty Brewing Co., a Truckee original founded almost 20 years ago, has opened the doors to its new flagship brewpub, restaurant, bar, and community gathering space in the heart of Truckee’s historic Railyard District. Located in the Old Lumberyard, the new venue represents both a return to roots and a step forward — blending the heritage of FiftyFifty’s early days in Truckee with a modern vision for how people gather, eat, drink, and spend time together today.

The opening marks another major step in the ongoing activation of the Railyard District, transforming the Old Lumberyard into a vibrant destination for locals and visitors alike. Surrounded by fellow community-minded local businesses – both familiar faces and new neighbors – FiftyFifty is designed to be an open, welcoming place. Not just a restaurant, but a shared living room for Truckee.

The venue features:

  • A full-service brewpub and restaurant
  • A large, flexible bar and lounge environment
  • Ample space for large-party dining and group gatherings
  • Comfortable areas for unprogrammed hanging out — before dinner, after dinner, apres-ski, or just because.

Check out their award-winning beer and delicious menu with old favorites and some new ones. FiftyFifty is open for lunch and dinner at 10242 Church St. 530-587-2337. Read more and see pictures of their beautiful new space on Truckee.com.
