Truckee Day Street Cleanup & Town-Wide Block Party BBQ
Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Show your hometown pride at Truckee Day by helping clean up our streets, neighborhoods, and trails — then celebrate together with the community!
• Cleanup (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.): Meet at neighborhood check-in stations between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to pick up supplies, get assignments, and join fellow volunteers in keeping Truckee beautiful.
• Town-Wide Block Party (12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.): Head to Truckee River Regional Park for a free BBQ lunch, live music, and a community expo celebrating the people and organizations that make Truckee special.
• Free Bike Valet: Ride to the event and take advantage of complimentary bike valet service provided by Truckee Trails Foundation.

Nourish Tahoe: A Community Wellness Festival & Farmers Market

Join us this Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Nourish Tahoe -- a community celebration of local food, wellness, and connection hosted by Mountain Lotus and Tahoe Food Hub with support from the Truckee Core Values Fund. It will be a beautiful day at this indoor-outdoor event, featuring a pop-up farmers market, local vendors offering wellness-centered products, and a build-your-own bouquet bar where you can create a beautiful arrangement with locally grown flowers.
Families are welcome! There will be activities for all ages, with fresh farm-to-table food available for purchase from Mountain Lotus Café throughout the day. Come connect with local farmers and makers, support small businesses, and celebrate the incredible food and wellness community that makes Tahoe such a special place.

A full week of community, celebration, and mountain-town fun. With 35+ events across Truckee and North Lake Tahoe, there’s something for everyone: hikes, bike rides, climbing meetups, film screenings, trivia nights, drag performances, art workshops, family activities, a puppy pride meetup, and more.

Join us for our June Lunch & Learn, Reduce Waste & Save Money: Sustainable Strategies for Business, presented by Maria López Godoy, founder of Waste Free Tahoe. In this practical and informative session, Maria will walk local business owners through realistic, low-cost strategies to reduce the waste their operations send to landfill while lowering associated costs.
Drawing on her experience working with businesses across the Sierra Nevada region, from small local operations to ski resorts and hospital districts, Maria will share actionable approaches businesses can implement immediately. Topics will include how to better understand your hauling invoice as a financial tool, how to create waste systems that work efficiently without relying solely on staff behavior, and how upstream purchasing and operational decisions directly impact waste output and expenses.
