Banned Books Week Contest!

Banned Books Week (September 18 - 24, 2022) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. 


The Rodgers Library is celebrating Banned Books Week during the entire month of September by launching our own "Guess the Banned Book" contest! 

How to Play

Brainfuse HelpNow offers a personalized homework help in core subjects (math, reading, writing, science and social studies) including SAT preparation. Adult Learning Center includes help with Microsoft Office, resumes, and more!

Teti Library is located within the Institute of Art and Design at New England College in Manchester and has numerous circulating visual art book collections.  GMILCS patrons (that's you!) can check out books or request to have them shipped to our library.


The Open to the Public Event coincides with the week-long Manchester Citywide Arts Festival.

Mystery Lovers Book Club

You know you love it. Murder, mayhem, mystery and maybe snacks! 


This month's book: A Study in Scarlet, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.


A Study in Scarlet was Conan Doyle's introduction of arguably the most famous fictional detective in English literature Sherlock Holmes and his loyal companion Dr. John Watson. Read how Sherlock got his start!

Teen Anime Club

Monday, September 19th @ 2:30pm


Teens are invited to come watch anime, discuss manga, and eat ramen at the library. Every teen who attends will receive an anime vinyl sticker.

Monday, September 20th @ 10:00am

Join Ms. Tanya for stories, songs, games, and activities. For ages 3-5. 


Today we will read books about homes. Then we will create homes using wooden blocks.

You’ve seen it played in movies and by celebrities! Come learn the basics of the game and play a bit. We’ll go over how hands work, bluffing, and betting as well as Texas Hold’em, one of the most popular versions of the game. Registration required.

We hope to use this gathering to connect people who want to play D&D on a regular basis.
