True North Aid is working with a developing Community Food Centre currently being established in northern Saskatchewan. The construction of the new kitchen is well under way. True North Aid is in the second phase of a grant proposal for $15,000 with a family foundation to provide 4 atmospheric water generators to communities struggling with clean water. CONGRATULATIONS DWIGHT
Premier's Award for Indigenous excellence
True North Aid would like to congratulate Dwight Ballentyne on receiving the 2018 Premier's award for Indigenous excellence in sport. We've been helping to support Dwight through the Bird's Nest Society in Maple Ridge BC. Dwight has been invited to play in a hockey tournament for Team Canada in Europe next spring.

True North Aid is currently filling a 20' sea can in Kitchener with needed supplies. The supplies will go to support northern Indigenous families and the container will serve as storage for a community kitchen we are helping to establish. MOON-TIME SISTERS
helping & empowering Indigenous women and girls
We are excited to announce that True North Aid will be working with and supporting the Moon-Time Sisters initiative as an official project of True North Aid. MTS is a collective of people who want to support young women in northern remote communities in Canada. They have collected more than 96K in hygiene products in 2017 which have supported 15 different communities. They (we) believe in the power and solidarity of women and girls. MORE INFO TO COME...
