2022 gives all of us a great chance to wipe the slate clean and see what we can do with a new beginning. Like any time, there are some obvious challenges we all have to navigate, but there has been so much going on in the Birmingham area and all over the state, it is a great time to be alive. We are thankful for a new year and are going forward with a lot of positivity. I can't wait to see what happens this year and I wish everyone a ton of good stuff in 2022. If we can ever be of help, we would love to be. If we are ever not doing what we are supposed to be, let me know.

25 Years of Music

I want to give a shout-out to my friend, Scott Register, on recently celebrating 25 years of his Reg's Coffee House radio show. It has survived format changes and the fickle ways of radio programming but he has done an amazing job introducing new music to the Magic City. Well done, Reg!

January 30th: The Day We Get Married

My kids have no choice in the matter. Either Zach or Vince has to marry on January 30th when they get to that point.

Sidney & Elizabeth Ward (Gail's parents) were married January 30th, 1937.
John & Gail Truitt (Tony's parents & Truitt Insurance & Bonding founders) were married January 30th, 1961.
Tony & Joanne Truitt were married January 30th, 2003.
