MEDITATION MOMENT...
Sew Grateful Ministry
EDITOR’S NOTE:
This March, we are grateful to share a series of devotions written by members of the Sew Grateful Ministry. Each reflection has been prayerfully shaped to weave together faith and the familiar language of quilting and sewing — reminding us that God works patiently and purposefully in every season of our lives.
As we share these reflections during the Lenten season, may we allow God to do His quiet, careful work within us — mending, shaping, and preparing our hearts with grace. As you read, may you see how individual threads of testimony, hope, and trust are stitched together into a shared witness of God’s grace among us.

'STRENGTH IN THE SEAMS'
SCRIPTURE:
II CORINTHIANS 12:9(NIV)
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
DEVOTION:
In quilting, seams are often the most vulnerable places, yet when properly reinforced, they become the strongest parts of the design. Our weaknesses work the same way. They are not flaws to hide, but places where God’s grace can rest.
When we release the need to manage everything on our own, we create space for God’s sustaining strength. His power is revealed not through our perfection, but through our dependence on Him.
REFLECTION:
God does not ask us to be strong in every moment. Instead, He invites us to bring our weakness to Him, trusting that His grace will hold us together and strengthen us where we feel most fragile.
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for Your sufficient grace. I trust You with my weakness and rest in Your strength.
AMEN
