This Sunday's Special Collection: Solid Ground

This Sunday's special collection supports Solid Ground, a White Bear Lake non-profit WBBUC has long supported. Through safe, affordable housing and supportive programming, Solid Ground helps families build strong foundations and break the cycle of homelessness.

Serving over 1,600 individuals annually through eight programs in Ramsey and Washington Counties, they recently remodeled and expanded East Metro Place near Century College to offer a safer, more healing environment for residents. You can find more information at Solid Ground

In addition to the collection basket on Sunday, you can donate in three other ways:

  • Online: http://bit.ly/give-to-wbuuc - indicate SOLID
  • Send a check to WBUUC with SOLID on the memo line.
  • Text to Give by text to 651-615-5551 the “amount SOLID" (ex, if you want to give $20, text: 20 SOLID)

WBUUC's Fall Outreach Project - We Need Your Help

Hello! This is Cas Burr reaching out on behalf of WBUUC's Fall Outreach Project. We want to reach out to members that we haven’t seen or heard from in a while, and we need your help to do this. If you are interested in helping call, please fill out this form and we will get back to you!

Thank you for your input!

100 responses and many helpful comments were received from the Sunday Service Style Poll in last week's eNews. 51% favored a mix of contemplative & lively, 44% preferred contemplative and 5% more lively. The worship team will hold these results and use them to guide worship planning.

Watch for more polls to come. Your participation and input is so valued – thank you!

Wellspring begins in January 2026

Are you interested in taking part in a year-long program that offers spiritual deepening and connection? Please consider participating in our Wellspring program, starting in January and running through December. This program offers multiple curricula, and we are hoping to run at least two different groups this year. This curriculum is especially good for people in transition who need a little grounding, people stepping down from leadership roles who want to nurture their inner life, parents who desire a sense of purpose in their parenting, and retirees who have newfound free time and want to dig deeper into legacy and purpose.

Rev. Jack is trying his best to get a sense of who is interested in participating in a Wellspring group and who might be interested to co-facilitate a group. Please fill out the following form to express your interest in this program: https://bit.ly/wellspring-2026

In Memoriam: David Heath

David Heath passed away on October 25, 2025 in Massachusetts, surrounded by wife Ann and children Greg and Maggie. We hold them all in deep love and care. Prior to moving in 2023, David was a longtime member and is remembered for all of his gifts, specifically musical ones, to our congregation. A memorial service is being planned for the spring at WBUUC.

In the rising of the sun and in its going down we will remember him.
