The Truro Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the first-ever Truro Guidebook Cover Competition.

We are searching for an artist to create the captivating cover art for our upcoming guidebook, showcasing the best of Truro to visitors and residents alike.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Theme: Capture the essence of Truro: its beauty, charm, and unique character.
  • Compensation: While we cannot offer monetary compensation, the winning artist will receive prominent name credit in the Truro Guidebook and promoted via the Chamber's platforms. Runners up will also be promoted.
  • Submission Process: Artists are requested to complete an entry form, which are available on the Chamber website. Artists will be asked to self hang their work on Friday, April 5th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
  • Eligibility: Open to all artists.
  • Voting: Chamber members will have the exclusive opportunity to vote for their favorite cover art on display at the Truro Community Center.
  • Chamber Reception Opening to be held on  Saturday, April 6th from 2-4pm in the Truro Community Center Recreation Lounge
  • New "Friend" Membership Option: For just $25, non-members can become "Friends" of the Chamber, gain voting privileges in the competition and are listed and recognized in our Truro Guidebook!
  • Art Pick-up: Artists are responsible for picking up their work on Friday, April 12th, in the afternoon.

This exciting competition is a fantastic opportunity for artists to showcase their talent and contribute to the local community. We encourage all interested artists to participate!
