Trust and Obey!!! 2/1/23
Hebrews 4:1-2 (KJV)
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What a WHIRLWIND of activity and strain since Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023-4:00 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My home was struck by lightning.
PS-NOT “lightening” as I previously miss-spelled!!!
LIGHTNING sneaks into one's home and only God knows where and why different electrical appliances and outlets are affected?????
When The LIGHTNING strike occurred-before I had any idea how bad it was to be-I :heard” the gentle Voice of OUR Savior whisper into my spirit-

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
And-PRAISE GOD-it HAS worked “together for good!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Hebrews 4:11 (KJV)
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
At first reading of the above Scripture it seems to be an oxymoron?????
“LABOUR therefore to enter into REST?????????”
HUH????????????????????????????????????????
LABOUR-from <G4710> (spoude); to use speed, i.e. to make effort, be prompt or earnest :- do (give) diligence, be diligent (forward), endeavour, labour, study.

And NO, I am NOT comparing myself to this great servant of God, BUT...........
I do have the PRIVILEGE of staying up most nights alone with little Amanda with little else to do but read my Bible and PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a THERE THERE!!
There ii/REMAINETH “THEREFORE A REST TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD!!!!
The KEY is WHEN and IF we EVER “CEASE FROM HIS OWN WORKS!!!”

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
The KEY is IF and WHEN we “HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Beloved, there is coming a time/MANY times in YOUR life as well as mine, where “HAVING DONE ALL” is ALL one can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Let the chips fall where they may or must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
ALL we can say is we did the best that we can or could AND if that is or was NOT sufficient-SO BE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
