The Children's Trust Reimbursement Payment During Holiday Period *

The Children’s Trust extends warm wishes for a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year! 

Please be advised that our offices will be operating at limited capacity from December 24 through January 1.

To ensure providers receive payments on time during this period, invoices must be submitted and approved by December 16, earlier than the usual deadline. We encourage you to submit complete invoices as soon as possible to guarantee processing before the holiday break. Kindly review all submissions carefully to avoid errors. Regular payment schedules will resume the week of January 5, 2026.

Recruitment, Outreach & Creating Support Networks: Join them the first Thursday of each month to collaborate with fellow parenting providers to build referral networks, share resources, & strengthen community connections. Next CoP will be held on Thursday, January 8, from 10-11 a.m.

Changes Coming to the Provider Bulletin in 2026!

Starting January 2026, the Weekly Provider Bulletin will become a Biweekly Provider Bulletin. We’re making this change to better streamline content, improve readability, and improve efficiency all around. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks! 

Project RISE's Structure and Clear Limits Virtual Training in January

January 14, 2026, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

In this training, youth development program staff will learn to recognize and respond to youth needs by creating routines and establishing effective guidelines and consequences that will result in positive youth engagement.

This week, we’re excited to highlight Family Resource Center of South Florida, Inc. Since 1978, the Family Resource Center of South Florida has been championing children's rights to grow up in a healthy and safe environment. Since then, they have become a leader in child welfare services. Fundamentals of Child Cognitive Behavior Therapy - Free Training

The Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment (CAMAT) program at the University of Miami is excited to offer a 10-week, 10-hour live virtual training series, called Fundamental of Child CBT: An Introduction to the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C and UP-A). UP-C and UP-A are evidence-based, Trust-funded Parenting and Family Strengthening protocols. Through a generous grant from the Batchelor Foundation, we are offering FREE registration to South Florida-based mental health providers and student trainees in a related Masters or Doctoral program. Individuals training or practicing outside of the eligible South Florida counties may still register at a fee.

Sessions will be conducted via Zoom every Friday from noon to 1 p.m., beginning January 30 through April 3, 2026. All the details and registration information are available at the link below:

Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training course aimed to increase understanding of mental health by educating individuals about the onset of mental health problems & addictions, as well as helping recognize the early signs of mental health problems amongst the youth. Miami Dolphins Foundation Opens Jason Jenkins Legacy Grant

In honor of Jason Jenkins and his family, the Miami Dolphins Foundation has announced a new grant, the Jason Jenkins Legacy Grant, which will annually award a $50,000 grant to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit driving meaningful, long-term change in underserved communities. This funding opportunity is designed to support initiatives that address inequities, respond directly to community-identified needs, and drive sustainable change while aligning to the Foundation's mission for a healthier, more educated, and united South Florida. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a strong track record of service and a clear plan for how the grant will strengthen and scale their impact. Those who applied during our regular Miami Dolphins Foundation grant cycle are eligible to apply for this new grant.

Communications Administrative Coordinator

The Communications Administrative Coordinator serves as the primary administrative and operational support to the Communications team, ensuring smooth coordination of budget management, procurement processes, sponsorships, and event logistics for the department. This position is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, managing internal invoicing systems, managing vendors agreements, tracking sponsorship payments, and outreach grants, and overseeing the purchasing of goods and services needed for department initiatives. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in support of the department’s objectives. Work performed by the Communications Administrative Coordinator includes but is not limited to researching and obtaining bids for services or purchased goods, monitoring agreements and their terms of services, scopes of work and quality of final product, goods or service to ensure high level output. The incumbent has latitude to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding vendor and/or materials selection; and prepares reports for the department and executive management.
