De ar Friends of The Blue Purl,

Trust.

It is the cornerstone of every single relationship, personal or professional. Think about it? Where relations are good, there is trust, there has to be.

We need to trust that our neighbors care about our community.

We need to trust that our leaders care about our best interests.

We need to trust that our friends and colleagues have the best of intentions – even when they mess up.

Trust is a central component of our relationship, too. We hope we have earned your trust, in our commitment to trying to provide you with the highest quality materials, to listen, and continue to build community.

Build Community: Through this newsletter, and our social media, - actually in everything we do. It's our mission.

Be Passionate: We have worked through the lockdown, to serve your needs and keep our little shop alive.

Share Knowledge: We have started zoom classes, to help keep you going.

Innovate: We have built out our website and our online shop to make sure you have access to all we offer. We have assembled kits and put them online, to make it easier for you, too.

Be Curious: We have continued to reach out to the very best reps and vendors to try to bring you the best of the best in yarns.

We have opened the shop for in person sales.

Step by step.

We know you are tired, and like all of us a bit frustrated. But we trust that you understand the virus has not yet been defeated. It has been knocked back, especially here, in our community. And that has allowed us, all of us, to take some steps forward, toward a more normal life.

We want you to know you can trust we will continue to move cautiously, always putting your health and interests first.

We trust that you all understand we are learning as we go – just as you are. So if things don’t always go so smoothly, if an Internet connection is lost or a lesson seems a bit off course, bear with us as we work to improve.

Trust.

You have ours. We hope we have earned yours.

TOSH DK is in the House
Tosh DK is here and up online! Just in time for a pattern sale from Boyland Knitworks. All her accessory patterns are 50% off for the month of July. Here's a few of our favorites for some colorful DK eye candy.
The Camp Wilkerson wrap uses 4 colors in garter, stockinette & a simple eyelet panel.
The Wolfgang hat is another great way to practice your colorwork tension. Make it in just DK or hold it with a strand of mohair to give it even more coziness.
The Kodikas shawl is perfect for practicing your colorwork skills without knitting an entire sweater. The pattern calls for 4 colors. Check out the colors for Tam's Fall version. Who doesn't love those tassels Keri attached?

A little help from our friends at Berroco
Dropshipping
From Berroco: We are aware that many of our LYS have had to temporarily close their doors for their safety in accordance with regulations from their governors. We recognize it's a difficult time for many of our brick and mortar shops. Many shops are transitioning to curbside and e-commerce options but we wanted to help them offer something more! We are happy to introduce Berroco 123 DropShip, to ship Berroco yarns directly to your home.

Isn't that great! Here (click in) is how it works ... you find what you want and then call us and we'll place your order and they'll ship it. This week's drop ship free patterns are the Malaga and Eula summer tops. The Malaga tank is knit in Modern Cotton DK with a crocheted lace edge. The Eula top is worked in Modern Cotton with feather and fan lace along the shoulder and back neckline.

Call us- 973 377-5648 or email to get the free pattern with yarn purchase through us.
