CAMPBELL RIVER: Bob Bray is pleased to report that 152,712 voters in British Columbia marked a ballot for one or more trustee candidates who had publicly stated her or his opposition to gender theories in K-12 classrooms.

152,712 Voters Against

Gender Theories in K-12 Classrooms

The school board election results are in for British Columbia.

To respect the decisions of citizens who made it to the polling station, I calculated the number of citizens who voted for common sense trustee candidates. The problem is that each citizen often has more than one vote on a multiple choice ballot. Thus it would be easy for the count of individual voters to be skewed by the error of double counting.

I am happy to advise that I avoid the double counting error in my calculations by counting only one vote from each voter. I prepared three lists.

#1 - The right hand column in this list counts only the top common sense vote getter's votes in 29 Trustee Electoral Areas. It also shows the number of these candidates who were (E)lected.

#2 - I follow that up with a list of the names of the top common sense vote getter candidates.

#3 - I also provide the names of the other common sense candidates in a Trustee Electoral Area. This includes the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th vote getters, also showing candidates who were (E)lected.
