CAMPBELL RIVER: Bob Bray is pleased to report that 156,722 voters in Ontario marked an October 24th ballot for one or more trustee candidates who had publicly stated her or his opposition to the teaching of untrue race and gender theories in K-12 classrooms.
156,722 Ontario Voters Against Untrue
Race and Gender Theories

The school board election results are in for Ontario. Unlike those from British Columbia where the vote counts are available in one central website, the vote count in each Ontario local election is available on the website of each city or town.
The ward system used in many school boards in Ontario increases the number of single seat electoral areas and reduces the number of electoral areas with multiple seats, compared to BC. This in turn lessens the potential of double counting the number of voters. In the few cases where there are multiple seats, I include only the top common sense vote-getter votes to arrive at the total of common sense voters.
I prepared three lists.
#1 - The right hand column counts the top "wise changes" or common sense vote-getter votes in 66 Trustee Electoral Areas. It also shows that 11 such top candidates were (E)lected in 8 school boards.
#2 - I follow that up with a list of the names of the 66 top common sense vote-getter candidates.
#3 - I also provide the names of the other 13 common sense candidates in multiple-seat Trustee Electoral Areas. This includes the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th vote getters, also showing the two candidates who were (E)lected in two of those 8 school boards.

Previous numbers are updated with "+" or "-"

I am interested in having a copy of any letter that an organization mailed to its members with recommendations on who to vote for. I would add info from any such letter to the trustee lists on the Social Mavrik website. The copy should include the name of the organization with the recipient's name obscured. Please mail the copy to me at 784 Bowen Drive, Campbell River, BC V9H1S2.
From the National Post, October 29, 2022
The above National Post headline introduces a Barbara Kay article in which she defends the female teacher/trustee in question by writing about the teacher's 40-year career as having an
"...old fashioned approach to combating racism with age-appropriate, character-building materials and equal respect for everyone..."
and noting further that such an approach
"...is incompatible with the board's current fixation on immutable physical characteristics that signal perpetual victim or oppressor status."
Barbara Kay's entire National Post article can be viewed here.
