UN Environmental Assembly Urges Action Now
UNEA5-1 met virtually Feb 22-23, 2021 to address the triple planetary crises of climate change, nature loss and pollution. The meeting of over 12,000 attendees included representatives of Member States and civil society. The successful leadership dialogues culminated in a set of outcomes geared towards moving the work forward.  Links to the entire event, including outcomes and a contribution by the Temple of Understanding, are available on our blog post, UNEA-5: act now to tackle planetary crises.
"Keeping Up the Pressure" towards COP26
The Parliament of the World’s Religions (PWR) hosted a seminar on the role of faith communities in COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference. Speakers included high-level strategists with advice on activism in advance. The national positions will be largely settled before the meeting, so the time to influence with moral advocacy is now. The recording of “Keeping up the Pressure” is available online.
