Enjoy the Blues!

Don’t let the new year give you the blues! Come out to a Friday evening Historical Happy Hour at the West Baton Rouge Museum for Smokehouse Porter, Miss Mamie, and the Gutbucket Blues Band! It will also be the backdrop to the opening reception for the new exhibit Ron’s Retro: Honoring Ronald Kennedy with Local Black Artists.

Mardi Gras officially begins on the Epiphany or Three Kings Day, Jan. 6, and King Cakes of every variety can be found on the Westside to celebrate!

Plan now to enjoy parades! The Addis Volunteer Fire Department Mardi Gras Parade rolls Feb. 11, and the Krewe of Good Friends Parade is Feb. 19 in Port Allen. See the routes and map out your spot!
