Bat Mitzvah: Maya Finkle

January 28

Maya Nancy Finkle, daughter of Johanna and David Finkle, will become a Bat Mitzvah January 28. Maya is a 7th grader at Leawood Middle School. Outside of school Maya plays piano, soccer, and competitive tennis. She plays cello in her school orchestra. She enjoys reading historical fiction, rock climbing, and playing with her dog, Penny.

For Maya’s bat mitzvah project, she volunteered at KC for Refugees and started a hygiene kit drive at her school to benefit newly arrived Afghan refugees.
