Many thanks to all who supported our United Methodist Women’s Hygiene Kit Drive for Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center in Cedartown. We are profoundly grateful for your many donations. There were six “filled to the brim” large bags of items. This will be a tremendous help to the foster children that are cared for by Murphy-Harpst. They are most appreciative of your generosity.
Tucker First UMC News

Editor's Note - We had some very eagle-eyed members that caught two mistakes in this week's church email. The first was the headline for the "Rock the Park" concert. It said that the concert is Saturday (it is really Friday). Also, the greeters ad mentioned taking temperatures at the door (we no longer do that). These edits have been made in this edition. Thank you for taking the time to make sure our message to the congregation is the best it can be.

We would love to have you join us as we greet people at the door of the church, hand out bulletins, etc.). To sign up for either Sunday worship service as a greeter, click on the button below. Concert in the Park This Friday

Water From Around the World
As people begin to feel comfortable traveling again, we are continuing our baptism project by collecting water from around the world. We invite you to collect water in a small, sealed container. Write your name along with the state or country from which the water was collected and drop it off on Sunday morning or evening during worship or drop it by the church office. You can see a list of where we have already collected water by clicking on the graphic. We look forward to seeing where your travels take you!
We know that exercise and good nutrition help keep us physically healthy. Unfortunately, we don’t always follow through. Our spiritual lives are similar. We know what we need to grow as Christians, but sometimes we struggle. Get Your Spirit in Shape is a free, 30-minute, monthly podcast from United Methodist Communications featuring conversations with leaders, authors, and others who offer spiritual nutrition and exercises for our everyday lives.

You can find out more about the podcast by clicking on the logo.
