Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson, in an online meeting with the Conference Extended Cabinet, has shared a prophetic and pastoral message inviting North Georgia United Methodists to recommit to prayer and spiritual disciplines and to hold up our plumb lines as we discern truth from falsehood, good from evil.

Opportunities to Volunteer and Serve
Like any new ministry or outreach, we are in need of volunteers with a servant’s heart and a willingness to learn. Any experiences with gaming, social media, art, music, photography, theater, video production/editing, or computers will be helpful. We would love for you to join us as we develop an effective use of these tools to share the good news.

Can You Help Assemble "To Go" Bags?
Each year on the first Sunday in February, Tucker First has provided soup and sandwiches and served at the Trinity Table in Downtown Atlanta. This year, due to COVID restrictions, Trinity Table had to change their setup and switch to "To Go" bags only. No soup and no inside serving.
Because of these restrictions, Tucker First has been tasked with providing 400 "To Go" bags to Trinity Kitchen. Ten volunteers are needed on Saturday, February 6 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon in the Activities Center to assemble 400 "To Go" bags.
Please wear your masks and observe the COVID-19 guidelines when participating in this mission project. If you are interested in helping with this mission, please contact Becky Burnett at [email protected].

Pastor Email Scam Continues
We continue to hear from people receiving emails that appear to be requests from Pastor Gerald or Pastor Anne. These are scam emails and should be deleted. The issue may not be unique to email but also include text messages and phone calls. Please remember that we will never ask for personal information or financial assistance by text or email. Please pass this message along to Sunday School class members and others that may not be familiar with the on-going scam. If you have questions, contact the church office at 770-938-3030 or [email protected].
Please note: Tucker First has suspended in-person worship. We will not gather for in-person worship again until the COVID-19 numbers have declined to a more acceptable level and sustained for a period of two weeks.
