THE TOUR

The tour/talk is at the private art museum

of collector Richard McKenzie.

Seven Bridges -- on 80 park-like acres -- is a significant and rarely seen collection reflecting a collector’s taste for representational art of the highest quality.

Our tour will be for two and a half hours at Gallery 2.

This part of McKenzie's art collection consists of large paintings from select artists, many of whom he discovered as they began their careers and supported through the purchase of several works of art at a time.

Some of the paintings are monumental in size. Gallery 2 also houses an extensive collection of glass works by the best artists working in glass today as well as the old masters, and the building was specifically designed to showcase these works.

The entrance fee is $45 pp, non-refundable.

Carpool is a must, as there are only 15 parking spaces.

Please be willing to drive others.

Arrive at 10 am at Merritt exit 42 to form car pools.

Depart at 10:15 am to assure arrival by 11 am. 

The drive from Westport down the Merritt Parkway takes about 30 minutes.

It's essential to use navigation software to 71 North Porchuck Rd.

A photo of the entrance to the property will be emailed to you.
