Tuesday Talk: Cal Savers Legislation + the Talent Shift
Tuesday, January 25, 12 noon, online via webex
During this edition of Tuesday Talk, we will take a deep dive into the Cal Savers Legislation and the impact it will have on small businesses. Understanding what is required of the business owner, the administrative tasks associated and what your options are, is key to determining how you will be in compliance with this fast approaching deadline.
Additionally, with millions of employees exiting the workforce, small to medium size business owners are asking more of their current staff (leading to burnout) and struggling to fill open roles that are vital to their success. We look forward to sharing what is driving this shift and how business owners can combat one of the biggest talent shifts in history.

As a service organization, sometimes we outdo ourselves, such as this past Saturday, when some 20 volunteers from our Club, Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary, converged on the Park Theater in Lafayette to engage in a serious scrub-down of the front exterior and sidewalk. View photos here.
Deploying pressure washers, rakes, brooms, ladders, and oceans of elbow grease which together made the premises come clean, literally. This group is well-prepared for the task because Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary is the home of the HOME team.
The HOME Team provides repairs at no charge to seniors on a scheduled basis. The goal is to help seniors stay in their homes safely. HOME team is our signature project, now ten years old, and adopted by more than 30 other Rotary clubs.
Seniors can take advantage of Rotary HOME Team services by calling (888) 204-5573 or emailing: rotaryhometeam@gmail.com.
