A dinner in their honor is scheduled for Thursday, January 29 from 6-9pm at the Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa. The evening will also include the introduction of the 2026 Lafayette Chamber Board of Directors.

Lafayette Chamber Connectors at Creekside Commons

Lafayette Chamber Connectors provides members with an opportunity to showcase their business and meet other professionals who can refer new customers. 

The group will meet at Creekside Commons, 1035 Carol Lane, Lafayette, on Wednesday, January 21, from 8:15-9:30am.

The Lafayette Chamber Young Professionals affinity group builds authentic relationships and supports personal growth for early- and mid-career professionals and business owners.

The group will meet at Beasts of the Bay Strength on Thursday, January 22 from 5:30-7pm at 1041 Stuart St, Suite A, Lafayette. Light refreshments will be served.

Lafayette Business Women at HOLISTIKA

The Lafayette Business Women held the first meeting of the year at HOLISTIKA last Wednesday, January 14th.

The meeting enjoyed great attendance and engagement as we listened to Cari Jacobs-Crovetto from Brave Directions talk about grounding ourselves and the Drama Triangle, a powerful framework that helps people move from stuck patterns of anxiety and stress into more creative, empowered states where innovation and understanding can thrive.

Tom Mulvaney Legacy Award Nominations



Lafayette Partners in Education (LPIE) is proud to accept nominations for the Tom Mulvaney Legacy Award to honor individuals, families, or businesses that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to LPIE's mission.

Criteria

1. Displays leadership skills that inspire others. Helps create a vision for the future and helps others understand their role in achieving that vision.
2. Models excellence in everything they do.
3. Embodies LPIE’s mission to support and enrich the education of every child in the Lafayette public schools.
4. Has demonstrated a continuing commitment of their time, treasure, or energy to further LPIE’s mission.

Harper Greer 2026 Donation Drive

Harper Greer is holding a community donation drive to benefit Assistance League Diablo Valley. Please donate new or gently used clothing and accessories at the Lafayette boutique to support local children and adults in need from January 12–31.

Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours at Harper Greer, located in La Fiesta Square at 979 Moraga Rd, Lafayette. Items should be clean, in good condition, and on hangers. Accepted donations include: clothing, shoes, handbags, belts, and jewelry.

As a thank you, donors receive a 10% off coupon for each item donated, valid through February 15.

Diablo Valley College (DVC) is launching a series of targeted job fairs, starting this spring with the Film, Art & Communication Career Fair at the Pleasant Hill campus. The event is free and co-hosted by DVC’s Workforce Development and Career and Transfer Services offices.

If you know Bay Area employers in film, art, or communications, please share this opportunity with them. While employers are not required to be actively hiring, priority will be given to those with current openings if registration exceeds capacity.
