OUR REWARDS IN HEAVEN – PART 6
THE VICTOR’S CROWN OF GLORY
The Word, Jesus, came in the flesh teaching and preaching the Kingdom of Heaven. John 1:14 says, “and the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld (saw, witnessed) His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father…” In John 17:1 Jesus said, “Father…glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.”
Likewise, those who teach and preach the true word of God shall be glorified as was Jesus because we do the Father’s work in the name of Jesus. Just as the Father crowned Jesus with His glory, so also will we be crowned.
In I Peter 5:2-4 it addresses this as the reward for the “feeders of the flock” where it says, “Feed the flock of God, which is among you, taking oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; (and) not for filthy lucre (uncleanly obtained money), but of a ready (and willing) mind. Neither as lords (masters) over god’s heritage (the Church), but (by) being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd (Jesus) shall appear (return), ye shall receive a Crown of Glory that fadeth not away.” This reward for being a faithful leader shall last eternally.
The exhortation to these leaders is given in Acts 20:28 which says, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God…” The overseers such as Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Apostles, Prophets, and Elders are commissioned with responsibility to feed and lead the sheep (church) in truth with humility. These then shall receive the eternal Victor’s Crown of Glory.
Pray for Church leaders that they do not fail, and that they lead according to the pure Word of God and not by the notions of man or society. Pray often for your leaders.

THE BAPTISM OF FIRE
John the Baptist heralded the ministry of Jesus when he said, “…I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire”
At Pentecost, the disciples in the upper room were baptized with the Holy Ghost, and spoke with other tongues. They went out into the streets speaking in this spiritual language, and brought quite a stir. Peter, the same one that denied Jesus three times, stood up and preached and brought conviction to over 3000 people that received salvation.
Jesus had told the disciples in Acts 1:8 that they would receive power to be witnesses. This was so evident on the day of Pentecost. The change that it brought to those that were living in fear was drastic. From denier to deliverer.
So what about the baptism of fire? What exactly does that mean? Does it mean “fired up” like Peter was, as he was filled up with the Spirit to preach?
I think it means much more than that. I believe it is the purifying fire of God that brings sin to the surface in each of us so it can be burned out and we can be fired up to win the race we are in as Christians. The fire kindled deep in us keeps us going when we don’t want to continue. It burns brightly when we witness to others, and it burns brightly when we go into the secret place of God and come out purified.
There often is much in each of us that needs to be burned away. I would not look at it as a bad thing. I think it is good that God loves us so much that he wants our “vessels” to be holy, and set apart for him.
In I Peter 4:12 it says, “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”
Don’t resist the fire when it comes. Let it envelope you and bring you the victory God wants you to have.

Rise up, rise up! This is not the hour to sleep! Rise up, rise up and put on the whole armor of God Rise up, rise up, and take the helmet of salvation to those that do not know me. Rise up, rise up and use the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God to penetrate the hardest of hearts. Rise up, rise up, shod your feet with peace and go forth and do mighty exploits in my name. Your protection is not of men, it is of me. Take the shield of faith, and use it my children, for the enemy is throwing fiery darts at you and would like to penetrate deep into your soul. Know that these things are certain to happen, but many are wounded and have fallen for they have not worn the protection of my armor. Many are asleep, believing that the battle is over, but I would say, that the battle is heating up and you will need the protection of my armor. It is not to be taken lightly. Put on the whole armor, and do not take it off, for the enemy is looking for a place that he can penetrate. Let your mind become focused on me, the author and finisher of your faith. Do not let it be focused on the things around you for those things are going to penetrate the helmet and get into your mind and then your spirit. My armor is sufficient in these days saith the Lord. My grace is sufficient in these days saith the Lord. My peace is sufficient in these days saith the Lord. Oh my children, there is a war raging and it is much greater than you see with the natural eye. It is being fought in the heavenlies and it is being fought in the spirit. If you could see it with your natural eyes you would faint, but I would say to you do not try to focus on that. Focus on me, the prince of peace, focus on me, the lover of your soul. Focus on my Word that will be a light to your path. Do not think on the enemy. Think on me, and you will win the battle. Yes, there are many that have fallen to the prey of the enemy by listening to his accusations and lies, for they did not focus on me and close their ears to his words. They took off the helmet thinking it would be good for another time. But I would say this is the day to wear all of my armor. There is no time to put it on. Wear it and keep it on for this will bring you protection in the battle that is before you. I am with you and am your provision saith the Lord. Take the armor and use my gifts to do what I have called you to do saith the Lord.

In order to have a real breakthrough...One must first have a BREAK OUT. Yes, to have a real breakthrough sometimes you just gotta break OUT and break AWAY from those who’re constantly PULLING you DOWN while at the same time...They are PUTTING YOU DOWN. Oh yes, and some of those same folks have the audacity to try and measure where you’re going; By where you have already been. However, you cannot judge where someone is going; Based solely on where they’ve been. Do I hear a witness? Let’s not ever forget that God is known for taking the most unlikely candidates to the highest places; And causing them to be put in some of the highest positions...And He never one time consults a lowly human about any of His choices
