Proverbs 23:4, 5b says, “Labor not to be rich. Cease from thine own wisdom…for riches certainly make themselves wings. They fly away as an eagle toward heaven [lost in the sky].”
The wealth of this world will do you no good at the end of life. It will fly away, vanishing into nothingness at the end of your life. Only that which is stored up in heaven will endure, and then only if you are a believer in Jesus, or Jehovah in the Old Testament.
In this world you might have money, houses, land, or many “creature comforts” of life, but none of that counts in eternity. Only the treasures of the spiritual realm will endure. And, not just any “spiritual” realm, but only that which looks unto the holy and merciful Heavenly Father [Jehovah] and His Christ, Jesus, the anointed one.
There are many who claim to be spiritual, but their “spirituality” is rooted in a source that is not of Jehovah [Yahweh] or Jesus. It is from the dark side whether or not they are consciously aware of it. It will lead them to hell. Their life on earth will have been lived in vain. Even worse, it will have been lived unto eternal destruction.
I will close with these words: “Just one life, ‘twill soon be past – Only what’s done for Christ will last.”

WALK IN THE LIGHT

We are in a battle. It is not with flesh and blood. It is with “principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [Ephesians 6:12]
In John 8:12, Jesus is speaking and said, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” We can never say “we are in the dark” if we fellowship with the Lord.”
Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” The more of God’s word that we take in, the more of God’s light is in us.
We are told in Ephesians 6:10-18 to put on the whole armor of God. Each piece of the armor represents Jesus Christ. Then we are told, “having done all to stand.” [vs. 13]
With the armor of God on us, we reflect God’s light. The only thing that deflects darkness is light. 1 John 1:5 says, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light [the light of Christ], as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
Repel darkness by walking in the light. Your light will draw others to the Lord. So, shine for Jesus!

Tuesday Thought For Today
Have you ever been accused of something and you had no one who would stand up for you?
As I thought about that statement, I heard the Father say “My Son was accused and no one stood up for Him.”
The miraculous thing about that is even though no one stood up in defense of our Lord- He is the One who stands before the Father being our advocate before the Father.
So remember when you think that no one is for you - Jesus is.
“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”
I John 4:9 NKJV
“For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.”

Sometimes God will mold and prepare you for more than one thing. It often can come as a surprise because He has been using you in one way and then something else starts to take the forefront in your spiritual calling(s). You didn't lose anything, you just are being prepared by God for a multifaceted ministry. You will flow from one spiritual anointing to the other as the Holy Spirit moves and manifests in a capacity of signs and wonders through you. People need a Savior, a Healer, a Teacher, a Giver of Wisdom and a Deliverer. His Name is Jesus. Many go through much adversity and preparation from Him, as much is required from them to be used in the Kingdom of God. It is not so much about titles but about surrender and obedience, which precedes and determines the anointing. The anointing breaks the yoke. The greater the anointing on someone, the more they and their flesh have been broken. They are surrendered to the Holy Spirit's Will and Way. He overrides through the anointing, that they are just mere men and women, but are submitted vessels for Him to speak, move and live through, to reach men/women and glorify God!
