Happy New Year!!!!

I trust that your weekend celebration of the New Year was a great one! Here’s to a blessed 2023!

Rehearsals for Bells and Vocal Choirs will resume NEXT week! Any questions, contact Janine.

We had several prayer requests in worship Sunday:
-Ellie’s cousin Mark who lives in a care home where many assist him
-Sharon’s brother in law Ralph who fell and broke a hip
-Fletcher who moved out of NICU and is doing well
-Lynn Martin’s cousin Ginny who needs a liver transplant
-Family of David Williamsen who passed away last week
-Family and friends of Ryan who passed away at 38
-Friend of Jim Whitmore who is seeking relief from 25 years of a drinking problem
-Ellie, 21 year old with colon cancer begins chemotherapy
-Jim Wheeler’s sister in law Amy recovered from ovarian cancer
-Death of Pope Benedict
-Death of Barbara Walter’s
-Dakota
-Ron Gady’s Mom who has moved from the UP to Lansing
-Julieanne’s daughter Emily
Lord, in your mercy…

During worship we also wrote down and placed at the front of the church those things we would like to leave behind from 2022 and those things that we would like to see happen in 2023. Maybe we could all think on those things.

Eternal God, you have placed us in a world of space and time, and through the events of our lives you bless us with your love. Grant that in this new year we may know your presence, see your love at work, and live in your light. Amen.

Peace,
Pastor Lynn
