Martin Luther King Assembly, Friday 1/25

We have a special program and schedule planned for this Friday, January 25th, as we celebrate the life and work of Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr. If your child has an appointment and needs to be dismissed early, please be sure to send your child to school with a dismissal note as paging students during the assembly will be too disruptive. Details for early dismissal can be found here and on the homepage of the WMS website .

WMS Art Show
Exhibit Dates: February 2nd - 27th
Wayland Library Raytheon Room

Recent works by our town's middle school art students will be on view in the Wayland Library's Raytheon Room throughout the month of February. This mixed-media exhibition showcases a collection of vibrant and personal work by Wayland's 6th, 7th and 8th graders, illustrating both their unique approach to creative challenges, as well as their interest in a wide range of subject matter, materials and techniques.

Martin Luther King Evening Program and Dinner
THIS Friday, Jan 25, 6:00 - 8:45 pm

The District will hold its annual MLK event, honoring Dr. King and featuring performances by WMS and WHS students. This event is open to the entire school community. We need volunteers to help set-up/clean up dinner, and provide drinks/desserts. Click here to sign up. Thank you!

At the end of January, we will stop using the public WMS PTO Facebook page. Please join our new closed group now!


This will create a private space for us to communicate and give us more flexibility to share photos and videos with you. Only admins will be able to post in the group. Staff members are welcome to join!

Happy Hollow Principal James Lee
Thursday, June 6, 2019 (Rain date - Friday, June 7)

After 27 years nurturing young minds in the Wayland Public Schools, Happy Hollow's Principal James Lee will be retiring at the end of the school year. To honor his career and contributions to the Wayland community, the Happy Hollow PTO will host Jim’s retirement celebration during its Annual Year-End Picnic. If you would like to volunteer, please contact [email protected].
