Maundy Thursday, April 1
We will have a blended service with communion in the Gym at 7:30pm as we commemorate The Last Supper. Register here to attend in-person. If you are joining us for our live-stream, we invite you to collect your own elements to join us in communion.
Good Friday, April 2
We will have our Tenebrae service in the Sanctuary at 7:30pm as we observe the increasing darkness as a symbol of Jesus’ death. Register here.

REGISTER FOR EASTER SUNDAY
We will have Traditional and The Journey worship services at 8:30am and 11:00am on April 4. We encourage those planning to attend in-person on Easter to register for your preferred service. Registration ends tomorrow at midnight.
Due to an overwhelming response for our 11am Traditional Easter Service, if you are pre-registered for that service, we ask that you arrive no later than 10:40am so that we may usher everyone to socially distant seating and manage walk-ins.
All Easter Sunday services will be live streamed on our Facebook pages! You can view our Traditional Easter Service at 8:30am or 11:00am on our FCUMC Facebook page and The Journey Easter Service at 8:30am or 11:00am on The Journey Facebook Page. If you miss the live stream events, these services will be available on our YouTube channel after completion of the services.

REGISTRATION FOR VBS OPENS
THIS THURSDAY, APRIL 1
There will be limited space available and registration is required. This will be an outdoor evening camp from 6:00-8:30pm on June 14-17, 2021. The registration link will be available on our website this Thursday, April 1 and will be added to the E-Spirit next week. Slots will fill up quickly so mark your calendars!

RISE AGAINST HUNGER
MEAL PACKAGING EVENT • APRIL 17
Our annual meal packaging event for Rise Against Hunger is a go! We will package meals offsite and outdoors at R. Larry Smith’s covered parking area at the 640 Building, 2606 Greenway Drive and Old Broadway (diagonally across from Louis Drive-In). All church protocols for outdoor groups will be in place.
We will have three shifts of 60 people and two Rise Against Hunger staffers will be present as well. We currently have only 54 people signed up for shifts so we ask that if you plan to take a shift, please register now. The shifts are as follows:
- Shift 1: 9:00am-11:00am
- Shift 2: 11:30am-1:30pm
- Shift 3: 2:00pm-4:00pm

Through our annual Faith Promise missions giving, we partner with global, national and local life-changing ministries. Please check out these videos from Helen Roberts-Evans and Henderson Settlement, two of our Faith Promise partners.
We are halfway to the $54,000 goal for our Faith Promise Pledge Campaign! Drop your completed commitment card in one of the designated baskets at a worship service, mail to the church at 212 Hotel Rd, Knoxville TN 37918, or email to Ashley Garren by April 18.

Doug Shipman and crew will provide these monthly meals outdoors every first Wednesday from 5:30-6:00pm until further notice. If you know of families or individuals who are in need of meal assistance, please guide them to our community meals at Fountain City Ministry Center.

Emerald Youth Foundation has part-time positions available this summer and during the 2021/22 school year for students who are 18+ and pursuing a post-secondary education. They also have several volunteer opportunities including Wednesday night small group leaders, tutors/homework helpers, mentors, and coaching positions. Please use this link to sign up to volunteer.
