NEW MICRO-WEBSITE LAUNCHES
The Chamber is receiving a significant amount of information related to COVID-19 to be shared with the community. Initially we added two pages to our website. However, we quickly learned that we needed a more efficient and effective way to organize this important information for the community.

We immediately reached out to Matt Connar at Boost Creative , a longtime Chamber partner, and created this new micro-site, Resource.FortMyers.org

"During this time of uncertainty, people can begin to feel hopeless. This micro-site serves as a beacon to assist local businesses to get their word out and also gain access to valuable resources," said Connar. "When Linda & Colleen asked for our help, we felt obligated to jump right in. We appreciate this opportunity to give back and hope it inspires other local businesses to step up and support our community as well."

"We are including information from all businesses, not just Chamber members. We feel it is important to unite in challenging times and we hope we can help businesses throughout the community," shared Colleen DePasquale.

This site will be continually updated. To submit your information, or if you feel something is missing, please send an email to linda@fortmyers.org.

UPDATED BRIDGE LOAN LINK
Yesterday, we sent information about the available Bridge Loans for businesses. We have just learned that the online application portal has changed. Click the "New Bridge Loan Link" button below, or click here for this new portal.

A reminder: the loan committees are meeting daily to ensure the process moves quickly to help our local businesses.
TODAY IS "THE GREAT AMERICAN TAKEOUT"
Restaurants need our help! COVID-19 poses a significant threat to the future of an industry that employs more than 15 million Americans. That's why a coalition of restaurants is asking for help. On March 24, they're asking everyone in America to show their support for the restaurant industry by joining #TheGreatAmericanTakeout and eating at least one delivery or pick-up meal.

Here is a list of restaurants open for take-out in our area.
