Two meeting changes: Due to the Holiday this Wednesday the Early Ed Meeting will be rescheduled. And due to the FIRE Grant Day the Special Ed Meeting scheduled for the 23rd will also be rescheduled. Nicolette will send details to Directors/Coordinators and Special Educators.
Principal/Director/Dean Self-Evaluation Forms are due NOW! Principals and Directors need to email their forms to Kerry and Deans need to email theirs to Catherine. You can find an evaluation form in this attachment.
Important note about IowaFlex and Iowa Assessments. The CSO will create the Test Events – please do not have anyone at your site create the Test Event for either of these tests. The CSO will create them and assign them to your school.
Note a change in the IowaFlex Testing Window – With our February 15th Holiday and several of the schools attending the FIRE conference on the 16th and 17th, we will extend the testing window until March 1st. The dates can't be adjusted until after this window closes (2/24) but Karen Hopson will go in on the 25th of February and reopen it until March 1st.
The form required for all volunteer drivers has been updated. You can find the updated form here. Please save it and make sure that those on your staff who will be requesting volunteer drivers use this updated form.
All forms in the Staff Portal of the Diocesan website have been updated. If you are in need of the password to access the Staff Portal, please reach out to Kerry.
All Principals, Deans and Directors need to complete your proposed school calendar for 2023-24 by February 28th. Proposed Calendars can be found in your school/center folder. Here you can find the directions for completing your school calendar. After February 28th the CSO will let you know if your calendar has been approved.
Mark your calendars for Principal Lunch and Learn- The Mo Leadership Development System (MLDS) has worked with Karen Hopson to create a Lunch and Learn for the Catholic School Principals, Deans and Directors on March 3, 2023, from 11:30 am – 1 pm. We will meet here at the Chancery in the Glennon Room. MLDS will be providing lunch for all attendees and the topic of conversation will be 30 second feedback. We would love to have all who can attend this free session! Please RSVP to Karen H if you can attend!
Please verify that you have sent the Climate/Leadership Survey 2022-2023 or Climate/Leadership Survey 2022-2023 Spanish Version to your parents, teachers, and advisement council members, as our number of participants is down. The deadline for survey feedback is Wednesday, February 15th, so we can begin disseminating this information in time for evaluations.
Principals, please be sure that you are checking your Nonpublic Registration LEA Verification.. This is on-going until February 28th, so be sure to check regularly so you can address any issues promptly. You should have provided all LEAs that are listed with a list of students from their district. Information should include – student grade and address. Names need not be provided. LEAs should be verifying and accepting your information. If they have declined something, there should be notes on the registration to guide you in fixing the problem.
